The role
What you will do as a Licensed Private Investigator
Handle surveillance, locates, witness interviews and field investigations for Delator Group clients across East Tennessee. Assignments come from attorneys, insurers, businesses and private clients. $30 an hour plus mileage; an active Tennessee PI license is required.
- Conduct surveillance and capture court-ready video and photos
- Run locates, witness interviews and field checks
- Write clear, timely investigative reports
- Coordinate with case managers on assignment goals
Requirements
What you need to apply
- Active Tennessee private investigator license (Tennessee Private Investigation and Polygraph Commission)
- Pass a background check
- Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license
- Comfort with cameras, smartphones, case software and email
- Investigative experience preferred
- Signed independent contractor agreement and NDA before starting
Compensation
Pay and schedule
- $30 per hour for field and report time
- Variable mileage reimbursement by assignment
- Assignments across East Tennessee
Schedule: Assignment-based. Surveillance can include early mornings, evenings and weekends.
