Delator was founded on principles adopted by its members through time served in federal law enforcement and the U.S. Army. The habits forged in those environments are not guidelines — they are the baseline.
The investigative industry is not a gig or a hobby. Supporting investigative operations without discipline and professionalism carries real consequences — usually for more than one party. We built Delator because the industry needed an organization willing to enforce that truth.
This is why Delator had to be built. A centralized investigation association with a full chain of command and heavy quality control — not intended to downgrade the work previously done by Tennessee's investigators, but to give them something they never had: veteran investigators teaching them, specialized licensing accommodations, client networking, agency-building guidance, and so much more.
