01Delator Global

What Delator Global Is

Delator Group is a private investigation firm licensed in Tennessee and headquartered in Nashville. Delator Global is its international practice, built for companies, law firms, investors and individuals whose problems cross borders: a fraud that runs through foreign subsidiaries, a supplier nobody has ever visited, a breach traced to servers abroad, a site that needs its defenses tested, or a person who needs to be found in another country.

The practice runs on a simple principle. Delator does the work it is entitled to do everywhere, which is corporate investigation, cyber investigation, penetration testing and security consulting, and it hands private investigation work to vetted, locally licensed investigators in its network. Clients get one point of contact and one plan, and every task is carried out by someone allowed to do it in that country.

Delator Global is led by consultants with U.S. military intelligence, Department of Homeland Security, law enforcement, bail enforcement and technology backgrounds, and reaches into 152 countries through its network.

02How it works

Who Does What, and How It Is Contracted

International work is split into two tracks that run side by side. The table shows which track each service belongs to, who carries it out and who you contract with. When a matter needs both tracks, Delator runs the engagement and hands the licensed element to a locally licensed partner in its network.

03Corporate investigations

Corporate Investigations Across Borders

Corporate investigations are the core of Delator Global. Delator consultants scope each matter with your legal and compliance team, lead the investigation and deliver findings built for boards, auditors, regulators and courts. The work relies on corporate registries, court and regulatory records, document and transaction review, financial analysis, open-source and media research, digital evidence and interviews with your own staff where you authorize them and local law allows. Where part of the work is something a country reserves for licensed investigators, such as surveillance or background checks on individuals, that part goes to a locally licensed partner in Delator's network.

Fraud, theft and financial crime

Embezzlement, expense and payroll fraud, procurement fraud, kickbacks, bid rigging, fake vendors and diverted payments. Delator traces how the money moved, who approved it and who benefited, and documents it so finance, auditors and counsel can act on it.

Bribery and corruption

Allegations involving public officials, agents, distributors or customs brokers, investigated with anti-bribery laws such as the U.S. Foreign Corrupt Practices Act and the UK Bribery Act in mind, along with the local law of each country involved. Findings are organized so counsel can decide on remediation and any disclosure.

Due diligence, M&A and partner vetting

Before you acquire, invest, appoint a distributor or sign with a supplier, Delator researches ownership and control, litigation, regulatory history, reputation, politically exposed persons, sanctions exposure and red flags in the countries where the counterparty operates. Depth ranges from a quick integrity screen to a full pre-transaction investigation.

Intellectual property, counterfeiting and brand protection

Counterfeit goods, grey-market diversion, trademark abuse and design theft, traced from online listings back through sellers, factories and logistics. Delator builds the evidence file that supports takedowns, customs action and litigation, and coordinates licensed partners for any field work.

Insider threats and trade secrets

Departing employees taking data, staff working for competitors, leaked designs, pricing or customer lists. Delator combines digital evidence from company systems with document review and interviews you authorize, so you know what was taken, by whom and where it went.

Whistleblower and internal investigations

Hotline reports and allegations of misconduct, harassment, conflicts of interest or policy breaches, investigated independently and fairly, with clear findings for the board, the audit committee or regulators.

Asset tracing and recovery

After a fraud, a judgment or a failed deal, Delator identifies companies, property, accounts and transfers across borders and maps them for recovery counsel. Public registries, corporate filings, court records and financial analysis do most of the work; anything that needs a licence locally goes to a licensed partner.

Supply chain integrity and sanctions exposure

Hidden ownership, forced labour risk, sanctioned parties and transshipment in the supply chain, reviewed against your obligations and your customers' expectations, with practical recommendations for what to change.

Litigation, arbitration and executive matters

Evidence and research for lawyers in cross-border disputes and arbitrations, and discreet handling of allegations involving executives and board members, where confidentiality and independence matter most.

04Cyber investigations

Cyber Investigations in the Age of AI

Attackers now use AI to write convincing phishing, clone executives' voices, generate fake documents and probe for weaknesses faster than most teams can patch them. When something goes wrong, Delator's technology consultants investigate what happened, how far it went, what was taken and what to fix first, on systems, accounts and devices you own or are authorized to examine.

Evidence is preserved and documented from the first call so it can support insurance claims, regulators, law enforcement referrals and legal action. If a cyber case leads to a person who needs to be located or watched, that step goes to a licensed partner in the network.

  • Business email compromise and payment diversion
  • Ransomware and extortion incident support
  • Account takeover and credential abuse
  • Data breach and data leak investigations
  • Insider data theft and unauthorized access
  • Digital forensics on company devices, email and cloud accounts
  • Deepfake, voice-clone and AI-assisted fraud
  • Cryptocurrency tracing for fraud recovery
  • Dark web and open-source exposure monitoring
  • Evidence packages for insurers, regulators, law enforcement and courts

05Penetration testing

Cyber and Physical Penetration Testing Worldwide

Delator sends dedicated penetration testing consultants anywhere in the countries it covers. Penetration testing is security consulting, not private investigation, so Delator performs it directly: testers attack your networks, applications, cloud services, offices, plants and data centers the way a real adversary would, then show you exactly how they got in and how to close the gap.

Every test runs under a written authorization signed by the owner of the systems or premises, with an agreed scope, agreed dates and rules of engagement that protect your people and operations. If the scope includes background checks on employees or contractors, Delator does not do those itself: a locally licensed partner in the network completes them.

Physical penetration testing

Physical tests check whether someone can walk, talk or badge their way into the places that matter: reception, executive floors, server rooms, data halls, control rooms, loading docks and storage. Testers carry the signed authorization at all times, and every finding is photographed and logged.

How a test runs

  1. 01 Scope and authorizationTargets, dates, contacts and limits agreed in writing; the owner of the systems or premises signs the authorization.
  2. 02 ReconnaissanceMapping what an attacker could learn from outside, from public sources and passive observation.
  3. 03 TestingControlled attacks on the agreed targets, by testers who stop at the agreed boundaries.
  4. 04 EvidenceEvery finding recorded with proof, timestamps and the path the tester followed.
  5. 05 ReportA plain-language summary for leadership and a technical report with fixes ranked by risk.
  6. 06 RetestDelator confirms the fixes worked, so the report closes with evidence, not assumptions.

06Security consulting

Related Security and Investigation Consulting

Beyond individual cases and tests, Delator consultants help organizations get ready for the next problem: assessing risk, strengthening controls, preparing response plans and training the people who will have to use them.

  • Security risk assessments for offices, plants, data centers and executives' working environments
  • Security program, policy and access control reviews
  • Insider threat program design and training
  • Incident response planning and tabletop exercises
  • Investigation readiness: hotline, triage and evidence handling procedures
  • Third-party and vendor risk reviews
  • Fraud controls review, including AI-enabled fraud such as deepfake payment requests
  • Post-incident reviews and board briefings
  • Pre-travel security briefings for staff working abroad

07Multi-country cases

Investigations That Cross Borders

One case lead owns a multi-country matter from the first call to the final report. That person coordinates Delator consultants, licensed partners and network investigators in every country involved, keeps evidence handling and reporting consistent from one jurisdiction to the next, and plans translation, time zones and the rules on moving personal data between countries into the scope from day one.

Typical multi-country matters include frauds that run through subsidiaries and banks in several countries, distributors secretly owned by competitors abroad, counterfeit networks that span factories, warehouses and online sellers, ransomware whose operators and stolen funds sit in other jurisdictions, and family matters where a person or assets have moved abroad.

  • One case lead and one written plan for every country
  • Licensed partners for private investigation work in each country
  • Consistent evidence handling and report format
  • Translation, time zones and data transfer rules planned in advance

Investigations there can be difficult to manage, but Delator Group is here to answer any question you have.

Western Australia. Western Australia licenses investigators under its own state rules, separately from the rest of Australia, and those rules are strictly enforced. Investigations there can be difficult to manage, but Delator Group is here to answer any question you have.

FAQ

Delator Global: Frequently Asked Questions

What is Delator Global?

Delator Global is Delator Group's international practice: corporate investigations, cyber investigations, cyber and physical penetration testing and security consulting performed by Delator, plus a network of vetted investigators for private investigation work in 152 countries.

Does Delator perform private investigations abroad?

No. Surveillance, background checks, locating people and similar private investigation work outside the U.S. is referred to a vetted investigator in Delator's network who holds any licence local law requires and contracts with you directly.

Which services does Delator perform itself outside the U.S.?

Corporate investigations, cyber investigations, cyber and physical penetration testing and security consulting. Any part of a corporate case or test that local law reserves for licensed investigators is completed by a locally licensed partner in the network.

Can a penetration test include background checks on employees?

Yes, but Delator does not carry out those checks itself. A locally licensed partner in Delator's network completes them within local privacy and employment law.

Do you need permission to test our offices or systems?

Always. Every penetration test runs under a written authorization signed by the owner of the systems or premises, with an agreed scope, agreed dates and rules of engagement.

How fast can you respond to a cyber incident?

Call as soon as you suspect an incident. Delator starts with containment advice and evidence preservation on the first call, then scopes the investigation in writing.

Can one engagement cover several countries?

Yes. One case lead coordinates Delator consultants, licensed partners and network investigators in every country involved, with one plan and one report.

Which anti-bribery laws do your corporate investigations consider?

Investigations are organized with laws such as the U.S. Foreign Corrupt Practices Act and the UK Bribery Act in mind, together with the local law of each country involved. Your counsel decides how to use the findings.

Are there countries you do not work in?

Yes. Delator Group does not offer any services in Singapore, and does not take work in countries under comprehensive U.S. sanctions.

Who are Delator's consultants?

People with U.S. military intelligence and Department of Homeland Security backgrounds, former law enforcement officers of every kind, former bounty hunters and technology experts, backed by a network holding a wide range of licences and certifications.

How is an engagement priced?

Delator quotes corporate, cyber, testing and consulting work in writing after scoping, based on the work, the countries involved and the timeline. Network investigators quote their own fees for private investigation work.

Is everything confidential?

Yes. Requests and case files are shared only with the people needed to do the work, and work done at a lawyer's direction may also be protected.
